Welcome to the Air Freight Council of Queensland's Website.

The Council is an "independent" industry based organisation established to enhance Queensland's export competitiveness by facilitating international air cargo logistics, particularly for the export of agri products.

Funding is provided to the Council equally by the Federal Government (Department of Transport and Regional Services) and the Queensland State Government (Department of State Development).

Currently, approximately 50,000 tonnes, valued at AUD900million of Queensland products are exported annually by air.

The Council provides independent advice regarding all aspects of exporting by air to exporters, potential exporters, industry associations, local city/town councils and airport operators.

The purpose of this website is to provide as much information as possible to international air freight users and to facilitate easy access to our Members, key industry organisations and government agency websites.
