The Air Freight Export Council of NSW Inc., is part of a network of Air, Land & Sea Freight Councils formed in each Australian State and Northern Territory. The grouping of all of the Freight Councils is known as the Australian Freight Councils' Network (AFCN).
Any initiative to enhance Australia's trade must be supported by an impediment free supply/demand chain or logistics chain. It is the prime responsibility of the Councils to identify and work towards removing impediments from the chain.

The
freight Council network has its roots back to the Prime Minister's Supermarket
to Asia programme with an emphasis on exporting fresh food. Whilst fresh,
chilled food and perishable airfreight, still accounts for 75% of all
Australian airfreight exports the Council's focus today is on all air
exports including value added manufacturing and processed products, delivered
through innovation technology and knowledge.
