Freight Software Survey Results
The Airfreight Export Council of NSW (AFEC) has responded to perceived
concerns and some earlier confusion among the export trade and transport
community, about the availability of computer software or service related
products that will assist in the preparation, management and electronic
transmission of the documents that underpin the airfreight export process,
by conducting a detailed survey of suppliers in the market place.

Projects
The
Air Freight Export Council of NSW Inc. is actively involved in programs
and projects, focusing on:
- Building
awareness of seamless logistic systems and effective partnerships in
the supply chain.
- Active
involvement/communication with all levels of State & Commonwealth
Governments, Regional Councils and Shires, towards a better understanding
of international transport logistics.
- Working
closely to standardise and create awareness of the numerous Codes of
Practice in the transport of perishables and work towards a National
Export Logistics Framework, acceptable to the export industry.
- Communication
via AFEC web site, newsletter, e-mail. Using questionnaires to create
awareness and source information.
- Develop
and promote awareness training in airfreight exports and environmentally
sustainable strategy.
- Develop
effective model for air/sea freight exports of perishables to UK/Europe.
